Joe Girardi ‘not worried’ about job as Phillies continue to falter

Philadelphia Phillies supervisor Joe Girardi claims he isn’t anxious about dropping his job even because the workforce comes off a winless sequence in opposition to the New York Mets and tumbles down the NL East standings.

“I do not fear about my job,” Girardi stated, through ESPN. “I’ve by no means anxious about my job. I do not fear about my job. I’ve acquired to do my job. It is the enterprise of being a supervisor. I do not fear about it.”

Philadelphia is 21-27 thus far on the season regardless of having the fourth-highest payroll within the league and boasting large names like Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber. They’ve misplaced 10 of their final 14 and are coming off a 2-5 street journey that contained two walk-off losses, together with Sunday’s series-ending loss by the hands of Mets third baseman Eduardo Escobar.
