Trent Baalke: Trevor Lawrence ‘more decisive’ this offseason

Like many NFL rookies, Trevor Lawrence had a considerably underwhelming first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Common supervisor Trent Baalke says he’s seeing issues that make him assured in a significantly better sophomore marketing campaign.

Baalke revealed that Lawrence appears “extra assured” and “extra decisive” in his offseason work.

“He’s simply extra assured,” Baalke informed the “O-Zone Podcast” (h/t’s John Shipley). “You recognize, he’s carrying himself with extra confidence. He’s delivering the ball faster. He’s persevering with to do this. I’ve seen that by way of the course of the offseason, getting the ball out of his palms, being extra decisive.”

These are the types of pure enhancements one would anticipate from a second-year quarterback. Even after a middling rookie marketing campaign, there was not a ton of concern about Lawrence. Lots of his points have been merely chalked as much as ex-coach City Meyer.

The Jaguars have a brand new coach who has won Lawrence’s endorsement and have sought to enhance the offense round him. The steps are in place for him to progress as a second-year participant.
